Asia and Jade are in bed. Jade wakes up and calls Asia, but she gets no response. She notices that her friend isn't breathing. She immediately begins mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and CPR. After several cycles on the bed, a doctor arrives to help the girl. They move Asia to the floor and the maneuvers continue, without success. Subsequently the girl is moved to a different room, the doctor intends to carry out an experiment to try to resuscitate the girl, even if it now seems impossible. He is administered an experimental serum and the resuscitation maneuvers continue unabated. The defibrillator is also added, her paddles are placed on Asia's bare chest and the shocks shake her body several times. The CPR table is also placed under the girl's back to improve resuscitation. After numerous cycles and attempts, the doctor covers Asia's face, she applies the AED pads to the girl's chest and sets it. The shocks begin automatically as the two rescuers leave the room. After several shocks the defibrillator no longer senses a shockable rhythm and turns off. The doctor gives up and leaves Jade alone with her friend. Jade doesn't give up, she resumes CPR and, when all hope seems to be over, Asia recovers.
