In a few minutes the situation worsens. The heartbeat becomes more and more irregular and finally the monitor starts to beep. Asia's heart goes into fibrillation. The doctor administers some shocks, but the result is cardiac arrest. Compressions begin immediately on Asia's chest. CPR is alternated with AMBU bagging and defibrillator shocks. The heart goes into asystole. The warning line is flat. The doctor can only continue with compressions. Finally a response from the heart. It is possible to defibrillate again and resume CPR.
